Dr Ashok
Jain is PhD in Physics from the
University
of
Delhi. After Physics
teaching and research he moved on to Science and Technology Policy Research,
Planning and Management as Science attaché Indian Embassy,
Tokyo, Director Ministry of Science and
Technology and retired as Director of National Institute of Science Technology
and Development Studies. He is presently Honorary Vice President, Research
& Academic Development at
EMPI
Business
School
and co-edits ‘Innovation- EMPI Journal of Interdisciplinary Perspectives’. As
an elected Companion of Commonwealth Partnership for Technology Management
(CPTM), he is engaged in science and technology programmes
of several countries in Asia and
Africa. Dr
Jain is Fellow of National Academy of Sciences, India.
